Volleyball Recap: Cobden Appleknockers vs. Steeleville Warriors
Cobden lost against Steeleville back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cobden Appleknockers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Steeleville Warriors. The Appleknockers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.
Cobden's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Steeleville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-10.
Cobden will square off against Crab Orchard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Steeleville, they will host Dupo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Steeleville will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
