Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buena Park). They walked away with a 25-12 victory over the Mayfair Monsoons on Tuesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Coyotes' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 121st, while the Monsoons are ranked 274th).

Buena Park's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mayfair, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Buena Park will square off against rival Gahr at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Coyotes 8.7, the Gladiators 4.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Mayfair is set to take on their familiar foe St. Anthony at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
