Iola and Anderson County are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Iola Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Anderson County Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Iola is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Anderson County considering their two-run performance the matchup before.
Iola's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Anderson County, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Iola was able to grind out a solid win over Anderson County when the teams last played back in April of 2023, winning 7-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Iola since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
