Basketball Recap: Wapakoneta Takes a Loss

Wapakoneta was the 43-42 winner over Coldwater when they last played one another back in February of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Wapakoneta Redskins took a 43-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coldwater Cavaliers on Saturday.

Wapakoneta's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Coldwater, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wapakoneta has already played their next game (against Kenton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Coldwater will venture away from home to take on Van Wert at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coldwater is facing Van Wert at the right time seeing as Van Wert is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
