York hadn't done well against Rock Hill recently (they were 0-8-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cougars came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 3-1. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

York walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 21-25, 25-16, 25-23.

York has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Rock Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. York will host Dreher at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give the Cougars their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Rock Hill, they will welcome Ridge View at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
