Baseball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Colonel Richardson Colonels, falling 18-7. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Colonels from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Washington saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Dryden, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Colonel Richardson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Washington will take on Mardela at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colonel Richardson, they will challenge North Caroline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
