Volleyball Recap: Bishop Kelly Comes Up Short

Bishop Kelly was the 3-1 winner over Vallivue when they last played one another on Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop Kelly lost, don't look at Caroline Monahan. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and four aces. Monahan has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Bishop Kelly's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Vallivue, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-19.

Bishop Kelly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vallivue, they will face off against Hillcrest at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
