Greenwood suffers fourth straight loss at home

The Greenwood Woodmen lost against the Eastern Greene Thunderbirds back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Greenwood took a hard 65-51 fall against Eastern Greene. Greenwood has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Keylee Hudson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Eastern Greene, scoring 33 points along with nine rebounds and five assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hudson has scored at least a third of Eastern Greene's points. Bianca Wyatt was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.

Greenwood bumped their record down to 5-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Eastern Greene, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Greenwood and Decatur Central will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Eastern Greene, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Shakamak at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Shakamak is ranked 167th, while Eastern Greene is ranked 157th).
