Soccer Recap: Buckingham Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Buckingham was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 7-0 to the Lunenburg Central Chargers. The loss continues a trend for Buckingham in their meetings with Lunenburg Central: they've now lost six in a row.

Buckingham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Lunenburg Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckingham will head out to face off against Randolph-Henry at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Randolph-Henry will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last. As for Lunenburg Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Prince Edward County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
