Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Academy Takes a Loss

St. Mary's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eleanor McMain Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Tuesday.

St. Mary's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Eleanor McMain, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

St. Mary's Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Fisher on the 13th. As for Eleanor McMain, they will square off against Morris Jeff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
