Basketball Recap: Rogers Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

On Monday, the Rogers Rams were able to grind out a solid victory over the Silas Rams, taking the game 70-59.

Treyshawn Weatherspoon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 10 for 19 en route to 32 points along with five rebounds and five steals. His morning made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Gilderhus, who posted 18 points and three steals.

Rogers is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Silas, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Rogers will take on Emerald Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Rogers' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Silas, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mount Tahoma at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Silas is facing Mount Tahoma at the right time seeing as Mount Tahoma is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
