Softball Recap: Bradenton Christian Wins Going Away Against Lakeside Christian

Bradenton Christian had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Lakeside Christian on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 11-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-8 back in March.

Bradenton Christian got a massive performance out of Ava Stanley, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Stanley has posted since back in April of 2024. Sofia Puccia was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Bradenton Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Lakeside Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Bradenton Christian will challenge Admiral Farragut at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The BlueJackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.83 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lakeside Christian, they will square off against Indian Rocks Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
