Pleasant Hill was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Missouri River Valley - West.

Oak Grove was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Grain Valley. The Panthers came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 34 last week.

Tanner Foerschler was the best wideout in the league this week as Harrisonville bested Odessa. Foerschler tallied four receptions for 66 yards. Kenny Baker helped Harrisonville's passing attack out by catching one ball for 50 yards.

Austin Lewis was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 20 carries, he ran for 166 yards as Excelsior Springs defeated the Bulldogs. Sylvestor Harbour III also contributed to the rushing game with 104 yards on the ground.

Jon Latshaw put up the best numbers through the air as Oak Grove beat the Eagles. He finished with a total of three completions for 41 yards and one touchdown. Latshaw's favorite target this week was Derrick Dow, who caught two passes for 25 yards.

The Tigers' Alex Vanfossan and Nick Masoner have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Missouri River Valley - West in both passing and receiving yards. Vanfossan has thrown for 887 yards this season, while Masoner has 17 catches for 390 yards. Aaron Graham from Pat Richard's team leads the league in rushing with 1446 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Oak Grove takes on second place Excelsior Springs. Last week, the Panthers topped Grain Valley, while Excelsior Springs beat the Roosters.

The Panthers extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Grain Valley, 54-7. The win marks eighth in a row for the Oak Grove.
