It's playoff time, and Delta had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Colorado Academy Mustangs by a score of 37-24 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won 15 matches in a row.

It was another big night for Taylor Somers, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 boards. Breezy Huff was another key player, going 5-for-12 on her way to 10 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.

Delta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 20 consecutive contests.

Despite the defeat, Colorado Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sam Clevenger posted four points in addition to nine boards and five blocks. Colorado Academy is 2-1 when Clevenger posts three or more blocks, but 11-12 otherwise.

Delta's record now sits at 20-6. As for Colorado Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-13 record.

Delta has already played their next game, a 56-46 victory against Timnath on the 14th. Colorado Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
