The Northeast Metro RVT Knights will face off against the Medford Mustangs at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Northeast Metro RVT's defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so Medford's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Medford will be up against a hot Northeast Metro RVT team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Knights breezed past Malden to the tune of 42-14 two weeks ago. That looming 42-14 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Ryan Beede produced another solid effort rushing for 47 yards and three scores. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Lucas De Oliveira was another key player, rushing for 70 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Northeast Metro RVT was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 266 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 202 rushing yards in seven consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Medford came up short against Somerville on Thursday and fell 14-6. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Medford's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northeast Metro RVT, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
