Preview: Hatch Bobcats vs. Linden Patriots
Hatch is 8-2 against Linden since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hatch Bobcats will be staying on the road to face off against the Linden Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Saturday, Hatch was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 74-70 to Keith. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (55), Hatch still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Linden's 13-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Thursday. They secured a 77-72 W over Johnson. Linden's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Hatch's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Linden, their victory ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-12.
Everything came up roses for Hatch against Linden in their previous meeting last Friday as the squad secured a 83-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hatch since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
