            Baseball Recap: Farmington Phoenix vs. Weber Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Farmington lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Weber, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's   match. The Phoenix blew past the Warriors 11-2 on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Phoenix considering their two-run performance the  game before.
 Mason Morley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on nine hits and racked up six Ks. Those six  strikeouts set a new season-high mark for  him.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Easton Hunt, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and two  runs. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lincoln Westlund, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Hunt wasn't the only one making solid contact: Farmington  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. The Phoenix are 2-1 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
With the  win, Farmington broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-12. As for Weber, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the  defeat, which was their ninth straight  at home.
Farmington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
