Basketball Recap: Justice Moore's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Arizona College Prep over Notre Dame Prep

Arizona College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 71-45 to the Notre Dame Prep Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-38 back in December of 2024.

Arizona College Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justice Moore, who posted eight points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Arman Bhakta, who put up seven points.

Arizona College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Notre Dame Prep, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Arizona College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-57 defeat against Chaparral on the 7th. As for Notre Dame Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-34 victory against Desert Mountain on the 7th.
