Football Recap: Seaforth Hawks vs. Southeast Alamance Stallions
Seaforth lost against Southeast Alamance back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks were outmatched by the Stallions and fell 41-12. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Stallions are ranked 135th).
Duncan Parker and Max Hinchman certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Parker threw for 194 yards and two TDs, while Hinchman picked up 69 receiving yards.
Southeast Alamance got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DJ Callis out in front who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. Drew Easter did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 86 receiving yards.
Seaforth's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Southeast Alamance, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Seaforth didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 50-34 defeat against Princeton on the 5th. As for Southeast Alamance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 33-21 win against Eastern Guilford on the 5th.
