Softball Recap: Linden-Kildare Comes Up Short

Linden-Kildare suffered their biggest loss since March 1st on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Rivercrest Rebels. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.

Lynlee Lejeune was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Linden-Kildare's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Rivercrest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season.

While Linden-Kildare had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
