Softball Game Preview: Franklin Sabers vs. Kenosha Bradford Red Devils

Franklin hasn't had much luck against Kenosha Bradford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Sabers will head out to take on the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Franklin comes in on ten and Kenosha Bradford on eight.

Franklin can't be too worried about heading out to take on Kenosha Bradford: they just beat South Milwaukee at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Sabers skirted past the Rockets 6-5. Six seems to be a good number for the Sabers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Kenosha Bradford owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Richmond-Burton, sneaking past 2-0.

Franklin pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Kenosha Bradford, their victory bumped their record up to 18-1.

Franklin couldn't quite finish off Kenosha Bradford in their previous matchup back in April and fell 7-5. Can the Sabers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
