Circle dropped down to 13-12 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 14-7 to the Augusta Orioles. The Thunderbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Orioles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

As for Augusta, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Considering they have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For Augusta's part, they got a massive performance out of Cade Camac, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Camac has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Hoyt Gull was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

While Circle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
