Football Recap: George Wythe Falls to Radford in First Game of Season + How To Watch

George Wythe kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 31-20 to the Radford Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Maroons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Bobcats are ranked 48th).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. George Wythe will take on Fort Chiswell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Radford, they will square off against Giles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
