Recap: Rock Port vs. Stewartsville/Osborn

Rock Port's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 34 points in the first half. Stewartsville/Osborn came up with 18 to make it 34-18 heading into the break. The offense for Rock Port continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points to put the game away.
Rock Port's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but junior Alex Burke led the charge as he picked up 62 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Dalton Stevens, who racked up 11 tackles. The victory bumped Rock Port's record up to 3-0. The defeat dropped Stewartsville/Osborn's record to 1-2.
Rock Port will stay at home next week against North Nodaway/West Nodaway at 7:00 PM. Rock Port have bulldozed their previous 3 opponents, so North Nodaway/West Nodaway might have their hands full. As for Stewartsville/Osborn, they will face off against Orrick.
