Osborn put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-2 win over East English Village Prep. Six seems to be a good number for the Knights as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

A Woods made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single hit any time he's pitched this season. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, J Maybin was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was W Alverez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Osborn's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for East English Village Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Osborn will head out on the road to take on Hamtramck at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East English Village Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeastern at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
