Basketball Recap: Middle Township Takes Down Haddon Heights in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Middle Township had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 56-31 margin over the Haddon Heights Garnets on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Reagen Powell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 28 points and nine boards. Her morning made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Farrow, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds.

Middle Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Middle Township's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Haddon Heights, they moved to 13-7 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Middle Township nor Haddon Heights have any future games scheduled.
