Frankston pulls out win at Cayuga that you have to see to believe.

Video: Dramatic finish in Texas
Frankston overcomes Cayuga with late Hail Mary.

The players and coaches at Cayuga (Texas) could perhaps relate to Oklahoma State on Saturday. The football team from Frankston (Texas) could definitely connect with Central Michigan, though the Indians didn't get an extra play.

This wasn't one of those Texas football shootouts, featuring a bushels of points and yards, but it was perhaps the best finish in high school football this week.

Somehow Frankston pulled out a 22-21 win at Cayuga on Friday night.

According to the Palestine Herald, sophomore quarterback Garret Bean led a 64-yard drive in 52 seconds finished off with a 36-yard Hail Mary completion to Boogie Krajca after the ball bounced off of teammate L.A. Bradford. That closed Cayuga's lead to 21-20.

Rather than kick for the tie, coach Jonny Louvier went for the win and Bean found Chris Cruz with a two-point completion in the left portion of the end zone. The home team, led by the offensive play of Tristan Davis and Ryder Sparkman, was crushed. Predictably the Frankston players, fans and coaching staff were ecstatic.

There wasn't the controversy that followed Central Michigan's 30-27 win over Oklahoma State, but it was just about as improbable.

"We just didn't quit," Louvier told Palestine Herald reporter Vanessa Goodwyn.
