Del Lago Academy entered their tilt with St. Joseph Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-20.

Del Lago Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-8-1. As for St. Joseph Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Del Lago Academy will challenge rival Escondido Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Tri-City Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
