Soccer Recap: Crooked Oak Comes Up Short

Crooked Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lawton Wolverines.

Crooked Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lawton, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crooked Oak will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crossings Christian at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Lawton, they will face off against Midwest City at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
