Volleyball Recap: Steele Falls Despite Big Games from Jake Penano and Joe Penano

Steele lost against Firestone back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Steele came up short against Firestone, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8, 25-19.

Joe Penano and Jake Penano certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Joe had 12 assists and six digs, while Jake had eight digs.

Steele now has a losing record of 2-3.

Steele has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Avon Lake on the 19th. As for Firestone, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Archbishop Hoban on the 20th.
