Softball Recap: Mt. Pleasant's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Mt. Pleasant entered their tilt with Alpena on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 15-12.

Mt. Pleasant pushed their record up to 20-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Alpena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Mt. Pleasant will challenge Owosso at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Alpena, they will take on Alma at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
