Faith Christian Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 67-63 W against the St. Elizabeth Hornets.

Despite the loss, St. Elizabeth still got an impressive performance from Nick Heckemeyer, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Heckemeyer a new career-high in assists (eight). Another player making a difference was Gavin Williams, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Faith Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for St. Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Coming up, Faith Christian Academy will take on Butler at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Elizabeth, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-49 win against Tuscumbia on the 18th.
