Volleyball Recap: Miami Falls to Round Valley in First Game of Season

Miami kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Round Valley Elks. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-8, 25-3.

Round Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bren Finch led the charge by getting six aces and four digs.

The victory (which was Round Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Miami will take on Morenci at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Round Valley, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Phoenix Christian on the 5th.
