 Johnny Bertucci was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  RBI.
 Bertucci wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Eli DeVita, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base.
Riverview's loss dropped their record down to 17-7-1. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 15-7.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Chargers beat Riverview by a score of  3-1 later that day.
