Softball Game Preview: Plano Reapers vs. Reed-Custer Comets

The Plano Reapers will square off against the Reed-Custer Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Plano came up short against Johnsburg on Thursday, falling 11-3. The loss continues a trend for the Reapers in their meetings with the Skyhawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Plano saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Solis, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Another was Macie Klatt, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Reed-Custer's offense. They lost 11-0 to Manteno on Tuesday.

Reed-Custer's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Plano, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
