Biggs extended their winning streak to 15 on Friday, bumping them up to 16-2. They had just enough and edged out the Quincy Trojans 5-3. That's two games straight that the Wolverines have won by exactly two runs.

Brayden Martin made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dennis Dewhurst, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI.

As for Quincy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly two runs.

On Quincy's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reilly Vaughn, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Biggs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against Maxwell on the 23rd. As for Quincy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-6 victory against Portola on the 20th.
