Volleyball Recap: Cheney Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cheney lost against University back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blackhawks fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cheney sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-12, 21-25, 25-22, 15-25, 15-7.

Cheney's loss dropped their record down to 13-11-1. As for University, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cheney is set to challenge their familiar foe Mt. Spokane at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, University will face off against rival Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
