Volleyball Recap: Cathedral Catholic Falls Short of Canyon Crest Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cathedral Catholic can now relate to. They fell just short of the Canyon Crest Academy Ravens by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cathedral Catholic took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 22-25, 25-13, 16-14.

Cathedral Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Canyon Crest Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 39-0.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Cathedral Catholic will face off against Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canyon Crest Academy, they will square off against Torrey Pines at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
