Volleyball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Delta extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They lost 3-0 to the Durango Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Durango's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 1, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Durango was led to victory by Mia Carozza and Olivia Cuellar. Carozza had 15 digs and one assist, while Cuellar had nine digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave Cuellar a new career-high.

Coming up, Delta will take on Centauri at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Durango, they will square off against Lewis-Palmer at 8:00 a.m. on September 6.
