Baseball Recap: O'Fallon Victorious

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but O'Fallon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mattoon Greenwave by a score of 6-3.

O'Fallon's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Connor Blue, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases. Carson Bauer was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

O'Fallon's record is now 22-10. As for Mattoon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-16 record this season.

O'Fallon is taking a road trip to square off against Mascoutah at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The Indians will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Mattoon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
