Basketball Recap: Grady Victorious

Grady was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Legacy Academy on Thursday. The Bronchos blew past the Silverbacks 60-39.

Lawrence Akins and Christian Perez certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Akins posted nine points, while Perez shot 56% from the field on his way to 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Grady's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Legacy Academy, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Grady won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Magdalena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Legacy Academy, they and To'hajiilee will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
