Conotton Valley is 7-1-1 against Buckeye Trail since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Braxton Neilson was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. That stolen base was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Williams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Conotton Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Canton only posted a batting average of .200.

Meanwhile, Buckeye Trail scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Union Local by a score of 12-11. The Warriors have struggled against the Jets recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Buckeye Trail now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Conotton Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Everything went Conotton Valley's way against Buckeye Trail when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Conotton Valley made off with an 11-0 victory. Will Conotton Valley repeat their success, or does Buckeye Trail has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
