Basketball Recap: Cherry Extends Home Winning Streak to 23

Cherry came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Deer River Warriors by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 77-56. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Warriors are ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
