Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Anchor Bay). They never let the Port Huron Northern Huskies get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Wednesday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Anchor Bay's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Port Huron Northern are ranked 267th).

Anchor Bay's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-6-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Port Huron Northern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-2 record this season.

Anchor Bay will host Chippewa Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Huron Northern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
