Parsippany put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They beat Sussex County Tech by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. While the Redhawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Arianna Zajac made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 12 batters over eight innings while giving up six earned runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
