Basketball Game Preview: Anderson Raptors vs. Winton Woods Warriors

The Anderson Raptors will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Winton Woods Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Anderson is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost to Turpin on the road by a 61-47 margin on Friday.

Despite their loss, Anderson saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Toby Strausbaugh, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. That's the most rebounds Strausbaugh has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Brugger, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, Winton Woods put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Holy Cross by a score of 58-46.

Anderson skirted past Winton Woods 56-54 when the teams last played back in February. Will Anderson repeat their success, or does Winton Woods have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
