Basketball Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Atlantic Christian Sharks + How To Watch

Pahokee is 1-8 against Atlantic Christian since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Blue Devils will head out to challenge the Sharks at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pahokee can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home last Thursday. They came up short against Glades Central, falling 37-12.

Meanwhile, Atlantic Christian lost 50-27 to Westminster Academy on Monday. The loss put an end to the Sharks' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Atlantic Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaidah Chase posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Reehanna Hyppolite, who had four points.

Pahokee ended up a good deal behind Atlantic Christian when the teams last played back in January, losing 58-41. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
