Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Takes a Loss

Cedar Ridge lost against Orange last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fighting Red Wolves fell 4-2 to the Panthers.

Hayli Headrick and Ava Smith scored both of Cedar Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Orange, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Ridge will square off against Western Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orange, they will challenge Southern Alamance at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Orange are facing Southern Alamance at the right time seeing as Southern Alamance are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
