Baseball Game Preview: Flowing Wells Caballeros vs. Rincon/University Rangers

Flowing Wells is on a 12-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Rincon/University a 16-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Flowing Wells Caballeros will look to defend their home field against the Rincon/University Rangers at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Flowing Wells came up short against Nogales on Thursday, falling 11-1.

Flowing Wells saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Mendivil, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Mendivil hit this season.

Meanwhile, Rincon/University lost 24-1 to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy on Friday.

Rincon/University's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Flowing Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-1.

Everything went Flowing Wells' way against Rincon/University in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Flowing Wells made off with a 16-2 win. Will Flowing Wells repeat their success, or does Rincon/University has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
