Brandon Mathews Game Report: vs Waldwick/Midland Park

For the first time in his career, Brandon Mathews scored a rushing touchdown on Friday. He rushed for 18 yards and one score, but sadly Cresskill still had to take a 53-20 loss at the hands of Waldwick/Midland Park. We judged Friday's matchup Mathews' most productive, but we don't think it'll stay that way for long.

Looking ahead, Mathews and Cresskill will head out to square off against Palisades Park/Leonia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last time Mathews duked it out with the Tigers (back in September of 2024), the Cougars came out on top by a score of 40-7. Will another strong game from Mathews be enough to do it again?
